OUR PHILOSOPHY
Guylaine Audet, naturopath, founded l’Herbier in 2006 for a very simple reason: to let more people know about the benefits of holistic health and all the good we can do for our skin and our body’s health.
Inspired by her experience as a naturopath, Guylaine believes in the power of plants and is committed to using clean, sustainable ingredients. Her holistic approach to health and beauty looks for the source of imbalance instead of focusing on the symptom so that genuine, long-lasting results can be achieved.
NATUROPATHY
Naturopathic medicine focuses on health through positive lifestyles and pure, natural treatments. Inspired by this practice, the founder continues to apply the fundamentals principles of naturopathy in her creative work: nature’s power to heal us and restraint from harm.
She uses no irritating or toxic ingredients so that optimum health is supported. Based on these principles, she is able to create safe, effective products, rituals and experiences that contribute to the body’s general health and beauty.

ECO-CONSCIOUS PRODUCTS
We have been researching, developing and making our products in Quebec for the past 15 years for the massage therapy and personal care industry.
Most of our ingredients are sourced from local or global suppliers that favour organic, sustainable and fair agriculture. We bulk-produce a number of our top products to reduce our environmental footprint and support sustainability for our clients, who care about our planet’s well-being. Our raw materials are biodegradable.

Ingredients of animal origin (lanolin, musk, collagen, squalene)
Endocrine disrupters (formaldehyde, synthetic fragrance, parabens)

Any other potentially toxic ingredient or skin irritant to safeguard the skin and hands of therapists.
